What We do

Orchestrating collaboration to help communities recover, adapt, and thrive

Focus Areas

We work across four interconnected domains where vulnerability is most acute and resilience is most needed:

01

Health

Strengthening systems to withstand health shocks and ensure wellbeing.

02

Livelihoods

Building economic stability and diversification in the face of crises.

03

Social Protection

Enhancing access to universal social protection and safety nets.

04

Climate Action

Supporting adaptation and risk reduction in climate-vulnerable communities.

A 'Spring to Action’ Ready

Dynamic Humanitarian Response & Recovery Ecosystem

Three Core Functions

Our work is driven by three interlinked functions:

  • 1. Orchestrate
Align partners, priorities, and resources for coordinated action.
  • 2. Influence
Shape policy, practice, and investments to embed resilience into systems.
  • 3. Solve
Incubate, pilot, and scale innovative solutions to complex problems.
Strategic Actions

We operationalise this through:

  • Partner Action Platforms - building and sustaining nodes across geographies and domains.
  • District-Level Integrated Initiatives - localised resilience-building and SDG planning with governments and communities.
  • Emergency Response Systems - rapid, community-centred, ‘spring-to-action’ mechanisms for crises.
The Outcome

By orchestrating collective action, influencing systems, and solving problems collaboratively, CAC is creating:

  • Resilient & thriving communities
  • Effective, efficient, resilient institutions
  • A dynamic humanitarian response ecosystem ready for the future

CAC’s strategic framework focuses on orchestrating coordinated actions among partners, solving complex problems to find scalable solutions, and influencing practices, policies, and investments. Our mission is to enhance resilience for 10 million vulnerable people, and 100 vulnerable population-focused organisations, and have a fully resourced ‘spring-to-action’ platform ready to effectively respond to humanitarian emergencies.
